Elena Fominykh
Born in Russia, 1963A journalist (M.A.), glass artist, Stained Glass and Mosaic teacher. Elena worked as a journalist in Russian newspapers, both in Russia and in Israel. Her work focused mostly on topics related to science, culture and art. With her arrival at Israel in 1992, Elena has made another natural proceeding when she started specializing in the Stained Glass and Mosaic arts. Four years ago, Elena has opened a Stained Glass studio at her city, Beer Sheva. The main clients of the studio are private people, synagogues and public institutions. Elena also teaches the glass art at the Kaye College, and at the Gilraphael art college. Lately, Elena has started specializing in new fields - Glassblowing and Lampworking, and integrating the products in her Stained Glass works.

- 2006-2008 - a 24 window series at the synagogue in Bnaya, Israel ("Holocaust", "The Seven Kinds", " Issachar", "Third Day of Creation")
- 2009 - "The Exodus", a window series. The projects is based on the set of artworks "Stories of the Bible" of the artist Ruth Ben Israel
